Camino de Santiago, Spain

The Camino de Santiago is a hiking trail in Spain that the pilgrims used to reach the city in northern Spain where Saint James is buried. Many years later, millions of Christians traveled to the same trail because they believed they would be saved from purgatory in the afterlife.

The Dead Sea, Israel and Jordan

The Dead Sea (which is actually a lake by the way) is the lowest elevation on earth at 1290 feet below sea level. The minerals found there are used for many medical treatments, so it is widely regarded as one of the most healing places on earth.
